Snorkeling the Northern Rockies

It’s not exactly that simple ... First you have to fly out with a bush pilot, look for that remote river or lake and land on the water. Then you watch for bears: safety first! And then starts the adventure: you put on your neoprene suit, enter the water, discover a world beneath the surface no one has ever seen before. Okay, probably.

Last August, I did it for 5 days. Then I had to stop it. The last day I stayed for almost 3 hours in the cold water. Much to long, I know! But it was that exciting, I couldn’t stop it. But that’s the life of an outdoor photographer!
